Andrew's Favorite Planes

1919 Hamble,  Span 78",  Saito 150 four-stroke. The two well dressed, full body, pilots in their cammo were outfitted from the Dollar Tree.

Andrew's biggest design so far. It was expected to be difficult to fly if the rigging angles were not set up correctly. But the incidence meter did a good job.

It turned out to be a  majestic and well mannered flyer with an imposing presence in the sky. Much like flying full size, with plenty of time to do everything.

The Sig Hots has 0-0-0 setup and  3s 3000 mAh inexpensive Zippy LiPo's, and a ST 10 motor. Vertical climb and tight turning snappy performance.

The motor runs at 300 watts, almost 1/2 a horsepower. Not bad for a hobby store retail price of $24.

The deep fuselage gives good sideways lift for knife edge flight.
